PS Mobile App
26.2.0
Focus: Tools to keep readers coming back, and to make their first experience with your app a great one.
A first impression that counts – The entire onboarding journey has been redesigned to help new readers feel at home faster. They’ll see a personalised reading preferences screen, a cleaner login experience, and a topic selector that appears on first launch. Push notification prompts are thoughtfully delayed, giving users time to settle in before being asked to opt in.
More intuitive topic personalisation – Your readers can now reorder and deselect topics more easily. Deselected topics move to the bottom of the list, keeping the experience clean and intuitive.
More powerful saved content management – Readers now have “Order By” sorting across all My Content screens, a “Delete All” option for quick cleanup, and a modern dropdown menu — making it easier than ever for your audience to manage their saved articles.
Flexible push notification topics – Push notification topics are now independently configurable, with full support across Firebase, Airship, and OneSignal. Existing subscriptions migrate automatically, and your readers can manage their preferences through a dedicated selection screen.
Native text-to-speech for feed editions – Your feed edition readers can now listen to articles directly within the app — expanding your content’s reach to audiences who prefer audio.
Seamless in-app browsing from push notifications – Push notifications can now open links directly within the app’s built-in browser, keeping readers engaged without redirecting them away from your content.
Refined dark mode on iOS – Styling inconsistencies in Dark Mode on iOS have been resolved, delivering a more cohesive and visually polished experience throughout the app.

PS Edition SDK
26.2.0
More ways to monetise your content, with improved performance and a consistent reader experience.
In-article advertising – You now have more opportunities to monetise your content — adverts can be served directly within articles and load automatically as readers scroll.
Banner adverts in feed editions – Banner advertising is now available in Android feed editions, with support for refresh on page change, targeting, and responsive sizing across phone and tablet — matching the behaviour your readers already experience in replica editions.
Consistent saved content experience – The SDK now includes the same “Order By” sorting, “Delete All” option, and updated menu UI as the native app — so your readers get a seamless experience regardless of how they access your content.
More complete text-to-speech – Text-to-speech now reads sub-headlines as well, providing your readers with a more complete audio experience when listening to edition articles.
