On Thursday 8th October our SVP Business Development, Ben Edwards, SVP Product, Simon Fry and Lead Developer, Ben Holmes presented a webinar looking at the rise of digital-only editions.
During the webinar we looked at the various use cases for digital-only editions, which include;
– Using a digital-only edition when cutting print days
– Creating new digital-only editions to add value
– Using digital-only editions to completely replace print
Simon, formerly Head of Product at The Independent, also discussed how they effectively utilized a digital-only edition to retain print subscribers following the closure of their print edition.
