The new app includes a live news feed as well as the weekly replica editions

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE; 19.01.21 PageSuite is pleased to announce the launch of a new app for Gaelic Life, a Gaelic games newspaper which has been published since 2007.

The new app utilizes PageSuite’s ‘Live’ and ‘Edition’ modules to offer readers two different ways to view content. The Live module enables subscribers to view the latest content within an optimised news feed and categorised into different sections. Upon launching the app, users are able to customise the news feed by ordering the sections and choosing which categories they wish to follow.

Alternatively, users can choose to view the weekly print-replica edition. Within the ‘Edition’ section users will also find a full archive of previous editions, available to access at any time.

The app has been integrated with Pigeon’s paywall plugin. A subscription is required to access the print-replica editions, however, the newsfeed features a selection of ‘premium’ articles that do require a subscription, and ‘free’ articles, which can be accessed by all app users.

Within the tray navigation, the app also features a ‘Fantasy’ section which links off to a web view, enabling users to access the Gaelic Life fantasy football section.
